Paraprofessional Position

​

Part-time (25-30 hours per week, Monday-Friday) Paraprofessional Teaching position available in small early childhood school in West Wichita (children ages 2 1/2 through 4th grade), beginning immediately. Qualifications include a high school diploma and the ability to deal effectively with various parts of the school on a positive note.   Responsibilities: assist teachers in their classrooms, assist with snack preparation, nurture children during volunteer-led enrichment classes, supervise children during lunch and playground periods, promote children’s development using the “Conscious Discipline” social and emotional classroom management program.  WFS is fully accredited, faith-based, has small class sizes, and maintains active enrichment class and field trip programs.

Seeking individual available to substitute in preschool and early childhood classes (K-4th)  Minimum requirements:  a substitute teaching license, classroom experience and a desire to work in a classroom setting that values conscious discipline and peaceful conflict resolution.
